CTFLEX

CTFLEX

Bilerro has participated in the CTFLEX project, which aims to develop and validate a new business model for the flexible management of low-voltage distribution networks, based on bilateral agreements between distributors and distributed energy resources, complementing market flexibility mechanisms. The project proposes an automated and coordinated control system at the substation level that enables real-time management of grid congestion (overvoltages, undervoltages, and overloads) by integrating distributed resources and smart grid assets, with the goal of facilitating the integration of renewable energy, improving power quality, reducing infrastructure investments, and advancing the decarbonization of the energy system.

This initiative has been launched under the “New Business Models in the Energy Transition” call for proposals, promoted as part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, and has been funded by the European Union’s Next Generation EU program. According to the associated resolution, the CTFlex project has a total investment of €1,357,603.42 and has been awarded €176,365.67 grant.
