Result
The implementation of the MCG system allows it to be the train-ground communication point for systems installed on the train, such as CCTV, TCMS, DBS, CCTV, or PIS. In addition, the system allows the collection and storage of train service, operation, and maintenance data, as well as sending it to Talgo platforms and ground operators. This provides the data required for studies and actions related to predictive maintenance and railway operations optimization.
Objective
Development of the MCG system as the central point for train-to-ground communications in the Talgo 230 fleet for operators DSB and DB. The Mobile Communication Gateway (MCG) in trains is a technological system designed to improve connectivity, safety, and operational efficiency of rolling stock.
